By joining Payworks, part of Visa Inc. since 2019, you’ll become a prominent part of a team providing oversight and coordination. You will be driving activities that support successful internal audits and external compliance and regulatory activities.

In this hands-on leadership position, you will serve as part of Visa's Cybersecurity Acquired Entities Risk Management team. You will provide oversight, coordination, and will deliver the activities that support successful risk management activities around acquired entities for VISA. Together with your team, you will work across a number of stakeholders who work with acquired entities to ensure appropriate processes, procedures and controls are adequately designed, implemented or remediated to meet VISA Key control requirements and mitigate any risks.

To be successful in this role you should possess the analytical, feasibility, relationship and executive summary skills needed to form highly reliable risk management strategies to meet various Visa Inc. requirements along with compliance and regulatory requirements.

As part of this role you will…

  • Implement Visa's Key Controls to help Payworks align with Visa's cybersecurity requirements
  • Interface with Visa's Cybersecurity teams to ensure Visa's centrally managed Cybersecurity programs are fully embedded into Payworks' technology processes (e.g., Identity and Access Management, Security Architecture reviews, secure software development lifecycle, vulnerability management)
  • Manage overall governance and assurance for security findings identified through automated scanning tools (e.g., periodic vulnerability scans) or manual reviews (e.g, penetration test completed on Payworks' products/applications)
  • Work collaboratively with Payworks Risk Business partner in maintaining external certifications (e.g. PCI-DSS, PCI-PIN, P2PE)

What we offer...

  • A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of bringing a technically outdated industry to this century’s digital standards
  • 100+ super-skilled colleagues in an organization that is ever learning and able to quickly act on things that need to change
  • Relocation support and allowance; free German classes
  • Flexible working hours and competitive compensation – including a budget for your professional development
  • No dress code and senseless “NOs”. You will have the freedom to design your work, as long as your team is happy, and you accomplish your mission

What we are looking for...

  • You should have direct participation and experience across common industry security policy areas, including, but not limited to ISO, NIST, COSO, COBIT, PCI, FFIEC, SOX, SSAE16, and others
  • You possess a strong executive presence, good communication skills and experience in Audit/Compliance/Regulatory discussions and proactive readiness activities with internal partners and external customers/clients.
  • You have a strong technical acumen (e.g., experience in IT infrastructure, application development, and/or implementation/execution of Cybersecurity controls such as Identity and Access Management, Vulnerability Management, and Secure Software Development Lifecycle)
  • CISSP, CISA Certifications preferred
  • You should have at least 6 years of relevant work experience paired with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems or equivalent
